JETI MULIAWAN
Jeti Muliawan is the Country Manager of our Indonesian subsidiary, Indonesia Business Partners. An ace banker, she had held several leadership positions across functions over a 30-year career at HSBC Indonesia, one of the country’s largest international banks with over 80 branches and 4000 employees in Indonesia.
Most recently she served as Senior Vice President and Head in the Financial Crime Remediation area in HSBC, where she was responsible for validating controls to protect against money laundering and to initiate AB&C (Anti Bribery and Corruption) measures. This experience makes Jeti one of the leading experts in the critical area of financial crime mitigation in Asia.
Jeti is a process and control expert, and has worked in senior leadership roles in the course of her 30 year career in internal audit, operational risks management and internal control reviews. This experience in a high growth and dynamic market like Indonesia puts Jeti in a unique position to help guide global customers on how to manage operational and reputational risk issues in emerging markets.
Jeti holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and a Masters of Business Administration from Texas A&M University. She is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
When she’s not working, Jeti can be found working out at the gym and practising line-dancing with her friends.
TRIPUDJO SOEMARKO
Tripudjo Soemarko is the Advisor – Government Relations of our Indonesian subsidiary, Indonesia Business Partners. He is a career banker with over 30 years of work experience at HSBC. Over the course of his illustrious career Tripudjo served the bank in various capacities, most recently as Director of Strategy and Business Implementation. In this role, he was responsible for conceptualising and implementing HSBC’s strategy in Indonesia and also collaborating with all business and functional lines to grow HSBC’s business in Indonesia.
This included being responsible for HSBC’s engagement with local government, business chambers, the ASEAN secretariat and other organisations. Tripudjo has strong linkages with the local government and local business chambers of commerce, and his extensive network with key stakeholders in local planning and administration gives him unique insight into what the government is doing as well as what it is planning to do.
Tripudjo’s strong network with senior members in the government and business community and his insights and knowledge of the market makes him an invaluable asset for all our clients wanting to enter the Indonesian market or intending to expand their business in Indonesia.
Tripudjo holds a Bachelor of Business degree in Finance and an MBA from Western Illinois University, USA.
ALFONS LINGGAR
Alfons Linggar is a seasoned banker and a Commissioner in Indonesia Business Partners. Alfons has an experience of over 30 years working in many senior roles in HSBC Indonesia, the most recent being SVP and Head of Operations for HSBC’s large business in Indonesia with over 500 staff reporting into him.
Over the course of his diverse career Alfons has notably also served as Head of Financial Crime Compliance, SVP – Service Delivery, SVP – Operations and Processes, and SVP – Network Service Centre. Alfons was also responsible for spearheading the establishment of Financial Crime Compliance in HSBC Indonesia.
Alfons’s experience in process management, operations and optimizing efficiencies in transaction processing makes him one of the leading experts in this space in emerging markets in Asia.
Alfons holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Systems from Azusa Pacific University, and an MBA from California State University, San Bernardino.
DIAN NOVIA
Dian is the Manager – Digital Initiative and Government Liaison who manages end-to-end sales process of technical products and services.
She has over 7 years of diverse experiences in multinational IT Software and Service companies and is a subject matter expert in the areas of Business Development, Marketing, Account Management, and Sales Strategy.
Dian started her career as a Business Development personnel and has been professionally working with big corporations and start-up firms. Dian holds a Bachelor degree in Science and Master degree in Management Marketing.
When Dian is not deluged with client meetings, she indulges in a coffee-tour and loves experimenting with food recipes.
MARLON IVES TANUIHUSADA
Marlon is the Manager – Digital Initiatives based in Jakarta, Indonesia. He obtained his Master of Arts degree in Transport Policy and Planning from The University of Hong Kong, and Bachelor of Engineering from Swiss German University, Indonesia. He had also studied Chinese for eight months under the Intensive Chinese Language Program of East China Normal University, Shanghai.
He is also experienced in distribution and manufacturing industry by being involved in his family businesses, and also had been an intern of Gabler Thermoform GmbH & Co. KG, a Thermoform machine developer company in Lübeck, Germany.
Recently, Marlon has been adding Chinese novel titles into his reading list. Reading while listening to music has been his favorite pastime activity.
MIRANDA ASIMA
Miranda Asima is Business Development Manager – Indonesia. Through her prior experience at hotel industry, building management and SaaS industry, Miranda has gained experience in Sales, Account Management and Operational across a diverse set of industries, thus affording her an eclectic knowledge base to support our clients in Indonesia.
She graduated with a bachelor’s degree of Hospitality in Tourism Management. She loves listening to the music, watching movie, doing some content or playing with her daughter and cooking.
SILVIA IRANI
Silvia Irani is a Project Manager based out of Indonesia. She has more than 19 years’ work experience in training and HR across industries such as Automotive, Banking and Consultant Management. Silvia has spent 12 years in Citibank Indonesia and describes the tenure as “one of most the valuable experiences for her which improved her problem-solving, decision-making and people management skills exponentially.
Watching movies, travelling and enjoying a relaxing weekend at home are the cure for her soul.
VIKASH BENGANI
Vikash Bengani is the Group Chief Operating Officer and Country Head – Singapore of ASEAN Business Partners. Vikash has over two decades of experience across Asia’s leading financial markets. He has held senior positions at ICICI Bank, Citibank, Indea Capital (a hedge fund) and EIS Global.
As a qualified Chartered Accountant from India and Chartered Financial Analyst from AIMR-USA, Vikash has worked in diverse roles including trading in equities, commodities and derivatives markets, streamlining operationally complex back offices for securities processing and financial modeling and forecasting of company performance as an equity research analyst. He has also worked as a project finance and structured debt specialist at a Development Finance Institution.
When not crunching numbers, Vikash enjoys outdoor activities and travelling to capture and preserve memories using his Canon SLR camera. He is an avid tennis enthusiast and a Djokovic fan.
ISHAAN MALIK
Ishaan Malik is our Head – Client Relations (ASEAN and Australia). Through his prior experience at TCG-Digital, Ernst & Young, and Clearwater Capital Partners Ishaan has gained experience in Sales, Marketing and Risk across a diverse set of industries, thus affording him an eclectic knowledge base to support our clients’ aspirations in ASEAN.
Ishaan will also be assisting in our Strategy and Planning function, to ensure that our activities across ASEAN are seamlessly coordinated across the various markets that our clients are present in. Ishaan has been entrusted with the responsibility to ensure that our client’s needs and vision are reflected in the market entry strategies that we structure.
Ishaan graduated Cum Laude from Singapore Management University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics.
A theatre and cricket enthusiast, Ishaan likes to spend much of his free time either on stage or on the cricket field.
JUN DE DIOS
Jun De Dios is ABP’s Group Head – Marketing and Country Manager – Philippines. Jun was the CEO for AKZO Nobel in Vietnam from 2008-13, and then CEO in Indonesia, before being appointed General Manager for Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, PNG, AUS and NZ, Pacific Islands over the period 2013-2019.
Jun has extensive experience in Asia across a range of industries and companies. He began his career with P&G Philippines as a Sales Section Manager in 1986. After a successful 8-year stint with P&G, Jun moved to Mead Johnson Nutritionals as Sales Director. By 2000 Jun was appointed General Manager in Mead Johnson, a role he held across many of the company’s key markets in Asia. Jun then joined the Dutch Mill Group of Companies as Managing Director for ASEAN, after which he moved to AkzoNobel in 2008.
Jun is a single handicapper golfer and has practiced with the Philippines national team.
ALDRIN CECILIO
Aldrin is a Business Development Manager in Philippines and he has a multi-industry experience in Sales. He worked at Starbucks Coffee for almost two years, in FMCG at Asia Brewery for 8 years as a Key Accounts Executive where he use to handle Key Accounts, Secondary Supermarkets and some branches of Mercury Drugs.
He used to work with Retail Banking segment in Union Bank as a Relationship Manager, and later he joined Synerbyte ltd. as a Business Development Manager and introduced LED Intelligent Lighting here in the Philippines. At his Synerbyte role. Aldrin traveled across The Philippines and Indonesia. Aldrin has handled various systems that can help businesses optimize and save their electricity costs (e.g. Chiller Optimization System that runs using Artificial Intelligence).
He has also built and managed a team of technical specialists who help in client support and client services. Before joining in ABP, Aldrin also used to work as a Business Development Manager in one of a Digital Marketing Company here in the Philippines.
In free time, he loves playing basketball with his kids, Chess and riding his motorcycle during weekends to unwind.
PATRONILLO “PAT” GARCIA
Pat is the Business Development Manager – Philippines Business Partners Global, Inc., the ABP Philippines entity.
Patronillo has been in the field of sales for more than 20 years across various industries. He has worked in FMCG companies like J&J Northern Philippines as well as in Pharmaceutical company, Abbott Laboratories, where he worked for a decade. Apart from being a consistent awardee, he was appointed to the management team which established and piloted the regional distribution model resulting to increased product reach and availability.
He has also worked in Indonesia and introduced LED Intelligent Lighting System to various industrial facilities as International Sales Manager of Synerbyte Limited. Prior to ABP, he was Business Development Manager of Metro Pacific logistics company. Having handled various categories, he abides by the sales motto, “It is not WHAT you sell, it is HOW you sell”.
While he loves to travel locally and internationally, he is also a home cookie and can whip up local delicacies in a jiffy. His favorite sport is basketball, and he has been a varsity and community player in his “younger years” playing the point guard position.
WYNCY EUSTAQUIO
Wyncy is the Project Manager – Philippines. She has worked with a family-owned pharmaceutical company in the Philippines for a decade, providing support to the sales team, promoting the company’s products, and nurtured and built relationship with the company’s key customers. Previously, she has also worked part-time in a local variety show in one of the top television networks and media companies in the Philippines.
She graduated with a bachelor’s degree of Science in Nursing. She is married and is a mother of one. Loves cooking since she was a kid and has graduated to baking now. She also enjoys singing and listening to music.
THAO NGUYEN
Thao Nguyen is ABP’s Country Manager – Vietnam. She is a dynamic leader with over 27 years of experience working for both global and local banks in Vietnam. Over the course of her career Thao has held senior leadership roles at HSBC, Citibank, ANZ, Techcombank and VIB
By virtue of her work at these prestigious institutions, Thao has established close working relationships with Vietnam’s State Bank, Ministry of Finance, State Securities Commission and other regulatory bodies.
Prior to joining ASEAN Business Partners, Thao served as SVP – Corporate and Institutional Banking at VIB, working directly with foreign investors in Vietnam. Thao’s past work experiences include serving as Country Head of Financial Institutions at Citibank Vietnam and General Manager of ANZ Vietnam.
Thao’s 27 years of experience working with hiqh-quality, successful Vietnamese enterprises and her strong network with the government and business leaders in Vietnam puts her in a unique position to help guide new entrants into the Vietnamese market.
Thao holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Languages from Hanoi University and an MBA from RMIT University Vietnam. A fitness enthusiast, Thao, is a big fan of yoga, gym and golf. She also enjoys listening to music and visiting art galleries to see the works of her favourite artists.
HUY TRAN
At ASEAN Business Partners, Huy Tran serves as Head of Business Development in Vietnam. He has over 10 years of working and living in France.
He has also a banking background from Whole Sale Banking Techcombank.
Huy is a results-orientated individual who thinks outside of the box and willing to take initiatives. In Techcombank, he was proactively seeking out new opportunities, maintaining a portfolio of clients for repeat business, and instrumental in providing technical, business and industry support to clients.
Huy Tran holds a License of MASS degree from Sophia Antipolis, Nice, France.
KAY THI
Kay Thi is ABP’s Country Manager – Myanmar. She was born in Myanmar and has studied and worked in both the UK and Myanmar. Kay Thi has worked in different industries including the garments industry in the course of an illustrious career spanning over 20 years and 2 continents in different disciplines including Operations, Human Resources, Finance, Administration and others.
Kay Thi’s strong professional network encompassing business partners and government leaders in Myanmar and her knowledge of the local economy and business practices makes her the ideal go to person for anyone looking to invest in Myanmar or intending to grow their existing franchise in Myanmar.
Kay holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Dagon University, an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration from the Association of Business Executives UK, and an MBA from the University of Wales.
KAVITA PANDA
Kavita Panda is our Group Head – Partnerships and Country Manager – India. Kavita was Executive Director of The Walt Disney Company India, wherein, she spent a decade and half in various business roles across Content Syndication, Licensing and Merchandising, Solution Sales and Advertising Sales. Prior to Disney, she was with Star India, Zee, Madison Communications and Lintas.
Kavita is a revenue growth leader, consummate in developing and scaling businesses profitably.
She believes that insightful Interpretation of the data is the differentiator. Striving to be a good parent to her daughter & dog; keeping fit with Walks & Yoga and an occasional cook, Kavita thrives on positive energy.
SARAYU SRINIVASAN
Sarayu Srinivasan is ABP’s Manager – Content and Research based in India. Prior to joining ABP, Sarayu worked in academic research, user experience research and policy research.
Sarayu also has experience in journalism, having worked as a journalist with The News Minute – a news website focused on south India.
She is a major in Psychology, Literature and Communicative English and a Public Policy graduate from the National Law School of India. She has a professional degree in Journalism and is currently pursuing a course in Business Analytics.
Sarayu also loves the outdoors; she likes to travel to learn about art and cultural practices. She likes recreational sports likes cycling and trekking, and is also a pet-parent with three dogs and two cats
VIBHUSHA SHARMA
At ASEAN Business Partners, Vibhusha is ABP’s Manager – Human Resources and manages content for website, social media & employer branding.
She has over 8 years of diverse experience in Human Resources and is a subject matter expert in the areas of Employee Relations, Talent Engagement, Performance Management, Succession Planning, HR infrastructure, Policy & Procedure development.
Vibhusha started her career as an HR Generalist and has been professionally associated with Global brands like Tech Mahindra & Convergys.
Vibhusha holds an MBA degree from New Delhi Institute of Management & was a Gold Medalist in the inter Collegiate Debate competition – Delhi Chapter.
When Vibhusha is not deluged with her HR concepts & strategies, she is seen anchoring various events in diverse segments like Corporates, Fashion & Lifestyle.
TONY TURNER
Tony Turner is our Head – Client Relations (UK and European Union). Tony is a seasoned banker with a wealth of diverse global experience. He offers deep knowledge of the ASEAN region having served for 7 years (2010-17) as CEO of the HSBC subsidiary in Indonesia (Bank Ekonomi), leading a bank having 80 branches and 2000 employees.
Tony worked for HSBC Group for 35 years from 1982-2017, serving in 12 countries in Asia (particularly Hong Kong), the Middle East and South America; and since 2008 as CEO successively of 4 different HSBC subsidiaries in Asia. More recently he has served in non-executive roles as Director of PT Bank HSBC Indonesia (2017-18); and currently as Director of Banque Havilland S.A., Luxembourg; and Chairman of their Swiss subsidiary Private Bank (both since 2018).
He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Financial Services (The London Institute of Banking and Finance) and also Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in History and Politics from the University of Exeter; thus balancing analytical financial skills with a liberal humanities academic background.
Tony’s wide professional experience covers corporate banking, private banking, and ASEAN trade and commerce.
Tony is married with 3 grown-up children, and now lives in London. When he isn’t on Zoom calls with clients he plays contract bridge, tennis and golf. Once COVID allows, he hopes to resume his regular trips to Asia, and to Marylebone Cricket Club (Lord’s), London.
RAJ GHOSH
Raj Ghosh is our Head – Client Relations (USA and Canada). Raj is a veteran in the fast food industry, having nearly 25 years of experience in the US fast food market. A career entrepreneur, Raj started his first business in 1996, and with his innovative sales and marketing skills he successfully grew annual sales by more than 100% within 4 years. Since then he has expanded his business and opened more stores that have been even more successful.
Raj has been a member of Pretzelmaker’s Advisory Council since 1999, and his stores have been consistently placed among the top 10 performing Pretzel stores since 2000, including being No 1 & 2 in some years.
Outside of his own entrepreneurial pursuits, Raj has also mentored many other business owners and guided them on how to grow their business and manage their teams.
Raj’s experience with dynamic and fast-growing businesses in the USA over the last 25 years, and his own Asian roots, put him in a great position to be a trusted advisor to US and Canadian corporates on how to succeed in Asia.
Raj holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
Raj lives in Connecticut with his wife and two sons. He is an avid soccer player and has coached youth teams at different clubs for over 10 years. He continues to eagerly await the day the US men’s team will win the World Cup.
NGAN SMITH
Ngan Smith is the Co-Head – Client Relations (USA and Canada) at ASEAN Business Partners. Prior to ABP, Ngan spent many years in the Banking industry working as an Institutional Sales Manager for HSBC – Global Markets in Vietnam. In her role, Ngan successfully facilitated the largest transactions in the market. She was among the top performers at the company and was a member of the HSBC Leadership Development Program.
Ngan was also associated with Travel Industry where she took pride in bringing travelers to experience the world through unique journeys.
Ngan graduated Valedictorian from RMIT International University in Vietnam with a Bachelor of Commerce. She continued on to receive a Master in Commerce (Finance) from UNSW Australia as an Endeavour Award Scholar.
Having lived in Vietnam, Australia and the US, Ngan is always passionate about nurturing business opportunities between the East and the West. Currently, she is based out of Connecticut with her husband and their son. She enjoys spending quality time with her family. She also loves learning about new cultures and exploring street food from around the world.
